Hartwig air is very excited to announce PA31 and BE55 training with ICUS time!
The ICUS programs are aimed at those who have completed their multi-engine endorsement and instrument rating and want to gain extra hours in their logbook as well as more hands-on experience in a charter operation.
What is ICUS?
ICUS or In Command Under Supervision is where you are performing the duties and functions of a pilot in command under the supervision of a pilot in command authorised by the operator of the aircraft for that purpose.
This is being offered in 2 of our aircraft, Beechcraft Baron BE55 and Piper Chieftain PA31. Both of these aircraft are regularly used in Hartwig Air’s charter operations and both are used throughout the charter industry in Australia due to their flexibility to get in and out of short rural strips.
For those who have the endorsement but don’t have time on the aircraft type, we are offering training packages to get you familiar with the aircraft type then jump onto one of our charter operations to do some ICUS time.
For those who don’t have time on the Baron. Includes type training and 10 hours ICUS on one of our charter operations.
For those who already have experience on the Baron. Includes a competency check and 10 hours ICUS on one of our charter operations.
Looking to upgrade to a larger aircraft? This program will train you into operating the Piper Chieftain. A 9 passenger twin used in the Australian charter industry.
For those who don’t have time on the Chieftain. Includes type training and 10 hours ICUS on one of our charter operations.
